Review in BUST Magazine
— Spring 2001

This is a self-help book unlike any other I've ever read. Gilman offers hilarious advice to us babes on how to kick some ass (and quit getting kicked in the ass). Chapter titles include "If You Can't Order Dessert, You Can't Ask for a Raise," "We Don't Shape History by Shaping Our Thighs," and "Every Idiot We Date Is One Less Idiot We Risk Marrying."

As funny as this book is, it's also full of really great advice I'd given to my younger sisters and nieces. Gilman seriously examines anorexia, affirmative action, female masturbation, and the Prozac generation. In the end she pretty much tells us to quit pissing around and get on with taking over: "Hey, somebody's gotta rule the world. It might as well be us." She's got a point: "Onward, Vixen Soldiers!"
